Event registration for NGOs and foundations
Member evenings, panel discussions and fundraisers from one workspace. Free tickets cost nothing, paid tickets carry a small fee per ticket, and the price never depends on how many people sign up.
A year of events, one small team
A foundation runs a member evening in spring, a panel discussion in autumn and a fundraising dinner in between. Three different events, the same contact list, and usually one person who does the organising next to everything else.
The member evening and the panel are free. Guests sign up on the event page, get a confirmation mail and show a QR code at the door. The fundraiser sells tickets. Every euro is meant for the cause, so the fee per ticket matters more than it would at a company event.
Mission Support handles all three from the same workspace. The organisation keeps its own sender address, its own event address and the contact list it already has. There is no charge on free tickets. Paid tickets carry 2.5 % plus €0.50 each on top of Stripe’s fee. The platform never charges per guest.
What matters for an NGO
No fees on free events
The member evening and the panel cost nothing, however many people come. Free tickets are free on every plan, including Free.
Paid tickets for the fundraiser
Sell tickets through Stripe at 2.5 % plus €0.50 per paid ticket on top of Stripe’s fee. Ticket categories, capacity and a registration window are set per event.
Campaigns from your own sender
Mails to the contact list go out from the organisation’s own address, with a legal footer and an unsubscribe link. Filters pick who gets which mail: invited, not responded, confirmed.
Check-in without hardware
Any phone browser scans the ticket. Volunteers at the door need a link, not an app, and walk-ins at free events are registered on the spot.
Data in the EU
Database and app in Frankfurt, mails via Brevo in Paris, payments via Stripe in Dublin. Your organisation is the controller, the platform the processor under Art. 28 GDPR. No cookies or analytics on guest pages.
Free with no time limit
One live event, 100 guests, one admin, sign-up form, confirmation mail and Excel export cost nothing, for as long as you like. Plus adds campaigns, QR tickets and your own event address.
Free tickets, free events, no small print
Most of what an NGO organises is free to attend. On many platforms that still costs money: a fee per registration, a monthly price that grows with the guest list, or both. Mission Support does not charge for free tickets on any plan. The member evening with 80 guests and the panel with 300 cost the same, which is nothing beyond the plan you are on.
The Free plan covers one live event with up to 100 guests and one admin, with no trial clock. That is enough for a small association with one event at a time. When a second event overlaps, or the guest list grows, Plus takes it to five live events and 500 guests per event for €49 a month or €490 a year.
The fundraiser: what a paid ticket costs
Ticket sales run through Stripe on the Pro plan or with a single event pass. The platform fee is 2.5 % plus €0.50 per paid ticket, on top of what Stripe charges. For a €60 dinner ticket that is €2.00 for the platform; Stripe’s share depends on the card and is shown in your Stripe account.
There is no guest-side fee hidden in the price and no cut of donations you collect elsewhere. If the fundraiser is the only paid event of the year, the single event pass at €199 gives you the Pro features for that one event, with up to 500 guests, without a Pro subscription.
Campaigns to your contacts, not a newsletter tool
The contact list lives in the workspace: guests from earlier events, members imported from a CSV file, board members added by hand. A campaign picks a filter, say everyone invited to the panel who has not responded, and sends one mail with your signature.
Every campaign carries the legal footer and an unsubscribe link. The sender address is verified with DKIM, so the mails arrive under your name and not under a platform name. Campaigns and reminders are part of Plus; your own sender domain is part of Pro.
One person can run it
Most NGO events are run by one person with a few volunteers at the door. The workspace needs one admin on Free, and up to three people share it on Plus. A volunteer who scans tickets gets the check-in role, which shows the door view and nothing else. Event templates for a lecture, a book presentation or a workshop set up the sign-up page, the mails and the ticket in a few minutes.
The guest list exports to Excel at any time, with one sheet per form. The report for the board, the count for the caterer and the list of who actually came all come from the same export.
What Mission Support does not do
It is not a donor database and not a membership administration. There is no dues management, no donation receipts and no CRM beyond the contact list and the event history. Keep your existing tool for that and import the list as CSV when an event comes up. Apple and Google Wallet passes are planned but not live yet.
